The coffee is generally pretty good. Lunches are passable - fresh, if uninspired. The best thing going here are the pastries. Yum.

But there are some serious drawbacks. The service is often morose. The espresso drinks are inconsistent. The atmosphere is often depressing - the cafe is underground, rather lifeless - though the decor is nice. ...

I Love Muddy Waters.
If you are out and about stop in there for Breakfast a Snack or Lunch. Love there Coffee's. on a hot day you might want to get a Capachilo or Iced Coffee.

Since I've been its only customer on three occasions, how does this place stay open?

For me the only coffee place in town. I had try almost every place in towm but they are the best for Coffee, staff, Place & etc etc.... not have word to explain how best coffee place is this....

Okay, can I just say what an awesome place Muddy Waters is? The atmoshere is wonderful. Not your typical cafe. But perfect if you want to sit and talk with a friend over a cup of tea or coffee, a place to study, a place to bring your daughter to and have your first cup of tea together. The workers ROCK! The service is GREAT! The atmosphere is family friendly. Thanks guys! Keep it up! Hope you are there for a LONG TIME!

This is one of our favorite spots in town!!! It's spacious enough to take the kids with a comfortable atmosphere for us adults. The coffee is excellent. THe best I've had in a long time.... also, the homemade pastries are delicious and the intenet service is free.....
