The Corned Beef is the best anywhere. Freddie stacks about 3 inches of it on every sandwich. I recommend a "SMURF" - A corned beef sandwich on rye with swiss cheese and mustard. It is usually quicker to dine in than wait in the carryout line.

Yes, the corned beef sandwich was big, but the meat was DRY. I would have expected it if I had ordered extra lean, but I didn't. The potato salad had way too much mayo, it was swimming in the stuff.

If this isn't the best place to get corned beef in Cleveland I give up. Small joint big taste just the greatest sandwich money can buy. From the rye bread to the pickles A+++ first class sandwich palace. A definite must go just a few block from downtown in my hometown of Cleveland Ohio.

I just love those oversized sandwiches! Slyman's is a great restaurant, and anytime I visit home, I love to stop by. I live in the Carolinas and the closest I can get to Slyman's is Jason's Deli. I miss you guys,.. keep up the good work!

YUM, YUM, YUM! I'll shout it from the roof top. Best corned beef I've ever had. I used to always get sandwiches from Corky& Lennys. I'm now a die hard Slyman's fan. I just wish the hours of business were longer. If you don't work near downtown, it's still worth the gas money you'll spend. I live in the southeast heights and plan my day so I can get a sandwich. One sandwich can easily feed two.
