I have been going to Hunan House for around 15 years. The minced chicken(lettuce wraps) are the best in town. I have never had a bad experience when concerning the food. Every place will have its good servers and its bad. Overall I give it an A

Sesame chicken-cold, gummy, not fresh, reheated from the night before

Hunan Combination-beef and chicken definitely leftover andre-heated; shrmip rubbery;dinner cold

Service-as cold as the food- She removed 2 nearly untouched dinners at 12.95 each from the table and never attempted to make things right.

Used to be good;now very poor quality;a waste of time and money- spend yours elswehere; they do not care about their customers.

I HAVE BEEN A PATRON OF THIS LOVELY ORIENTAL RESTAURANT FOR MANY YEARS. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANYTHING BUT AN EXCELLENT MEAL. I FIND THE PRICE TO BE EXTREMELY FAIR. THEIR SERVINGS ARE SO LARGE THAT ANOTHER MEAL AWAITS THE NEXT DAY. DIVIDE YOUR BILL BY TWO!

Probably the best Chinese/Thai restaurant in Columbus. For a while, the help was dodgy on carryout orders, but things have gotten much better. Not the cheapest such restaurant but worth the price.

If you are used to typical strip mall Chinese restaurants, get ready for a taste bud awakening at Hunan House! Excellent food (we love the wonton soup, lettuce wraps, and crispy orange shrimp) and nice ambience (white linen tablecloths and friendly staff). Its family friendly (my boys love their house lo mein). Now go get some! Its on 161 across from Olive Garden.
