    Good home cooking with a great atmosphere. I haven't been there when the restaurant has been busy. :)

    While the dining experience is unique at Peggy's, the home cooking is nothing to write home about. My grandmothers could both cook circles around Peggy's. The fried chicken was good, but the vegetables were lackluster, and the brown gravy had a burnt taste to it. Also, the price is now $8.00.

    This is actually better than your family's home cooking....unless your grandmother IS Peggy! Save yourself some trouble next time your in Philly around lunchtime...don't even bother to call to see what's being served...trust me: You'll love it!
