The address and phone are wrong on this site - they have moved down the street to 303 Canal.

I don't know what the fuss is about - it was an exceedingly average dining experience. Maybe since they moved things have changed, but it was just like eating at a Mexican chain restaurant - maybe with less atmosphere.

Great little hole in the wall! Nice garden out back. I had a half dozen Fat Mama's Tamales and a Knock You Naked Margarita. We drove back home the next day and...umm...we had to unroll the windows... Fat Mama was Talkin' ! oh well.. bring the mylanta with you, this was worth it. They are building a new site across the street, I hope it doesn't lose any of its character when they get their new place!

Super friendly staff and great tamales! The nachos were pretty great to. You have to love the outdoor patio, and the laid back atmosphere. If you are eating in there are only about 8 seats inside, but the patio are is large and shaded.

fat mama's is a must to go to when in natchez, ms. besides it being conveniently located downtown; walking distance to the boat, they have the best tamales and the absolute best 'KNOCK YOU NAKED' margarita's. all of their food is great; my personal favorite is the boudin. outside is a great atmosphere, it's very laid back and a great place to sit with friends and enjoy a beautiful afternoon!
