My husband and I chose Automatic Slim’s for our 3 year anniversary dinner. We always try and pick a place we haven’t been before. I was excited about going after looking at the menu on there website. We had the best time the food, service and atmosphere was great. I have been raving to all my friends about it we will definitely go back.

Slim's has been fabulous in the past. It used to be one of our office bunch's two favorite spots.

This is my favorite place to eat downtown. Great food across the whole menu, with interesting combinations of spices and sweet seasonings. It generally has capable and friendly service, and I love the atmosphere.

For my money, the BLTA & BBQ shrimp sandwich off the lunch menu is the best (and best value, it can make 2 small meals) sandwich to be found in Memphis.

Decent food and service but nothing to write home about.

The menu has an eclectic mix of dishes with a strong South American presence. I've never been disappointed! I like the Screaming Mimi salad (hmm....wonder why?) and their sides are wonderful!

LOVE this place! The food is so creative and the flavors are such a nice change from the ho hum blandness or generic spices that other restaurants use. This is a great place for lunch or dinner or hanging out at the bar. I don't know why you would not take someone here on a date - to each their own, I guess. The atmosphere ties everything in together. Don't skip dessert either!
