This was a big suprise! My husband and I were desperate for a good meal after a strenuous day on the trails, and stopped at this restaurant by chance. We were a little put off by the prices. I have had several experiences where you get overcharged for prepackaged, frozen food just because you are in a touristy area. But the food was spectacular! ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

This is quite possibly the best restaurant in Townsend. The food is good and the people are friendly. They always do their best to make sure I am satisfied when I visit. While it may be a touch pricey for some, the experience is worth it. I will most assuredly return.OVERALL

Best restaurant in TownsendThe Trailhead offers a good menu of steaks, seafood, spaghetti dishes, wine and beer selections, etc. The bread is served piping hot with real butter--a small indulgence we enjoy. The food and service have been excellent in the two visits we've made so far. Prices are higher than any other Townsend restaurants we've tried, but the Trailhead is in a different (higher) class than its local competitors.OVERALL
