Had lunch at Huck Finn's, and after reading the rave reviews here, I must say I was not disappointed. The service was good and the catfish was good, but the beans and cole slaw were excellent. I can't say enough about those beans, except that they were probably the best I've ever eaten. The hushpuppies were very good, too. I would go ...

Best Fried Chicken
By jaywmc3, 05/05/07
We visit Pigeon Forge and the Smokies at least once a year. Huck Finn's is always one of our first stops there. For $13 you get all you can eat catfish or fried chicken. I prefer the chicken and it is probably some of the best I have ever had. You order from a menu, not a buffet, so everything is fresh made to order. While you are waiting, they ...

Unexpected Pleasure
By lopossapaula, 04/02/07
Went here because it had been recommended by a friend. She hadn't bothered to tell me that everything was great. My mom ordered the froglegs thinking that for the price she would only get maybe 2 pairs she got 5 pairs! I have never seen her so happy when she was eating. The decor and staff made you feel right at home! Make sure you are hungry when you go because you get plenty of 'vittles'.

We were down in Pigeon Forge with friends and went to Huck Finn's for catfish. I love catfish but this was the worst Ive ever had. We did enjoy the guy playing the guitar and singing. Since they bring every party who orders dinners white beans, hushpuppies, slaw, pickles and onions to your table with a party of 6 they could have at least ...

The restaurant sit's upon a small hill along the main parkway, just above street level. It has a large porch on the front which was adorned ...

Finding what most restaurants have given up!
By Wildweasel, 04/08/06
My first trip into the Smokey Mt. area and will never forget Huck Finn's. Never more relaxed in a restaurant in my life while eating a combination of different foods and listening live to a talented young man sing songs. Came back for more the very next night.
The food was excellent, the staff was super courteous, knowledgeable, and always ...
