Had dinner After Five Friday Night ! Food was Great ! meet the owner Tony came by to check on us, went to the Bar in back after meal had a great time staff were real friendly Chris the barman treated us right!

Everything I have eaten is perfect. Highly recommend the Monte Cristo! Reasonably priced, friendly staff, can't go wrong. Eaten breakfast and lunch menus, eager to try their after five.

Had rewerved room for Bridal shower. Saw bare,rather ugly table was being set with flatware/napkin rolls. When we asked for a standard white tablecloth(nothing fancy)we were told that there would be a $60 charge for the tablecloth. She acted upset that we even wanted a tablecloth-said we should have specified that in our reservation! Shouldn't a tablecloth be standard-especially for a wedding shower? Our hostess graciously paid the $60...

If you haven't tried Spot of Tea, you really must. I always order the chicken salad, and my goodness is it delish! You can have yours made on the usual sandwich breads..white,wheat,so on so fourth, crossiant, or my fav the pita. Spot of Tea is a gem of a restaurant in the downtown, LoDa, area of Mobile. They are well known for their breakfast and sandwich selections. Every time I get the chance, I love to wake up early and have breakfast outside (on the sidewalk on Dauphin Street). The seafood bisque is out of this world.
