I spend a few days at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear at least once a year and one of the things that draws me back repeatedly, in addition to the wonderful ambience of the Grand itself, is its proximity to the Wash House.

Fabulous location, wonderful food, knowledgeable and friendly staff. The Bartender was a font of information. So good we are having our daughter's rehearsal dinner there and we get the whole place to ourselves.

The food was fantastic, the ambiance was great. The waitstaff were professional and courteous. Had a really good experience, will definitely go back. Perfect "date" place. Little more pricey than most places, but it's worth it.
