MY HUSBAND AND I CAME HERE TO GET AWAY FROM THE OVERPRICED BUSY ATMOSPHERE, AND WE FOUND IT WHEN WE CAME HERE. THE FOOD WAS GREAT, PORTIONS JUST RIGHT. I AM NOT A SEAFOOD LOVER AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE MAUHI MAUHI.WE WILL DEFINATELY COME BACK. EVERYONE WAS SUPER FRIENDLY, AND ALL OF THE CUSTOMERS SEEMED TO ENJOY THEIR TIME THERE.1 of 1 Yahoo! Ok, second day at the shores. It's raining, and we're looking for a good lunch. My husband is looking for a good po-boy. He loves trying things he's not tried before and he loves fresh seafood.

what a joke this place is, we ordered a bucket of royals shrimp for two and what was got 23 shrimp. the menu said its was 1.5 pounds of shrimp well its not even a pound. when we pick up the order the manager said it was our order we question the portion of the food and was told it was right and had a " take or leave it "attitude we will ...0 of 1 Yahoo! We ordered a steamed platter for six and everything was good except the refrigerated ice cold corn on the cob. If you are going to refrigerate the steamed corn and not re-heat it then call it refrigerators instead of steamers!0 of 1 Yahoo! Users found this review helpfulOVERALL

I love this place! It is the best seafood dive ever! We got a huge pile of FRESH shrimp and crab and literaly dove into it. It was so fun to get down and dirty peeling shrimp and cracking crab legs. Great place!My family has been going to gulf shores for the last 20 years and this is hands down our favorite restaurant. Is it a fine dining establishment? No, and that's what I love about it. It's a great place to go in your flip flops after spending the day at the beach. The boiled shrimp is fantastic and we always have wonderful service.
