    So bad that before we left the parking lot we placed a complaint with the Health Deptartment and contacted Bellingrath Gardens to encourage them to remove this establishment from their local favorite list. Should have left the restaurant based on first impression. It is dark, dingy, and not clean. It smells terrible!! Then it goes on from there -- ...

    I have been to Mary's every week for the past 5 years and have never seen any cats or signs about cats in or outside of the restaurant. I think that the food is great! There are also new owners so the inside and outside have been cleaned up A LOT!!!

    Do NOT eat here! The food is NOT what is bad! It is the atmosphere that it is cooked in that is bad! They keep about 15 cats in the kitchen with a sign that reads "PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE CATS HUMAN FOOD!"
