Estuve hospedado un mes en el hotel y me senti como en casa...sus habitaciones son muy buenas y comodas, ademas el hotel es muy nuevo..la atención fue excelente... Los desayunos eran muy ricos y abundantes....En ese momento me atendio muy bien...la niña Karina Abudinen y Piero en el bar....

I just echo the reviews of most of the others. Service is far above average. Location is great. Value is excellent. Working in Barranquilla can be trying but staying at the DC really makes it not only bearable but enjoyable! Once you have stayed here it is hard to imagine staying elswhere. I have stayed at The Prado (great during Carnival), Barranquilla Plaza and even the new Windsor but Dc is far and away the better choice.

Had a confirmed reservation. The reservation was guaranteed by a credit card. I confirmed with the hotel the day before that I had a reservation. Got there and they had no room for me.
This happened to me also in the Dann Carlton in Medellin. I think its dishonest and sloppy.

The rooms were beautiful, the service outstanding , the breakfast buffets wonderful. Complimentary coffee is served anytime and sipping a cup by the pool is heaven.
The hotel Del Prado may be rated #1, and it is lovely and the "Grande Dame" of hotels in Barranquilla, but the DC is newer, more comfortable and better located, with a great mall accross the street.
TRY IT, YOU'LL LOVE IT!

This is a world class hotel! From the moment I arrived to the time I left, I have nothing but praise for their service and hospitality.
I will be visiting Barranquilla frequently and will stay at the Dann Carlton each and every time.

I have not tried the other hotels but I feel that with the satisfaction I have with DC there is no need to look further.
