We recently stayed at this resort (2 bedroom) and had one of the worst experiences of our life here. We stayed there a few months ago.

5 major issues

1) 4 - 4 1/2 hour timeshare presentation. Wouldnt let you leave with your promised gifts

2) Cancelled dozens of kids activites even though it was perfect weather and dozens of kids wanted to ...

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT FUN FOR THE KIDS AND ADULTS RECCOMEND IT TO ANYONE!!I WOULD RECCOMEND TO GO AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TRUST ME YOU WONT WANNA COME HOME THATS PROBABLY THE WORST PART IS GOING HOME!

OH ITS BEAUTIFUL, IT WAS WORTH THE DRIVE...THIS WAS OUR FIRST FAMILY TRIP. AND WE ENJOYED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. FOOD, THE PEOPLE, THE HOTEL VERY VERY OUTSTANDING...THE POOL JUST HAS TO GET CLEANED OUT MORE OFTEN.. OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS AWESOME

We went to Penasco because we liked the Mayan in Puerto Vallarta and saw the growth of Neuvo Vallarta. At first it seemed a little too much to drive (approx 15 miles) but then saw the Master Plan. The Mayan is building basically a small city or multiple planned communities in a vast expanse of land, they call it "Neuvo Penasco"

We liked everything about it!We have also been to the Mayan Resorts in Nuevo Vallarta and Cancun they are also great!The reason we love it so much is the Nickaulas golf and the best beach in all of Rocky Point.The beach is clean and free from garbage and glass!Unlike the Sandy Beach Resorts!!!
We would love to stay again!

This hotel is one the best hotels in Puerto Penasco. It may a couple of miles away from the port, but its worth it. Nice beachfront hotel. It is possible to sit under the palapas and drink a corona just like in the commercials.

The beach was the best for walking and finding treasures. We found sand dollars, shells, small sea life. The tide goes out very far and you can walk quite a distance. We were there 4 years ago--since then, the landscaping and road has improved and the town of PP has grown. I was disappointed that there were not yet Gr Mayan and more restaurants ...
