This place is badly run and much more mercenary than most small backpackers we stayed in. We even ended up having to share a bunk between two of us, with no bedding (and not in a good way) because they double booked our bed, and got no refund and barely an apology.

Also hot and stuffy in the 2 rooms we stayed in. Not worth the money unless you're desperate.

Chapel Street is a great area, but stay somewhere else.

Back of Chapel is a fun, lively place where you can live or just hop into.

I decided to stay for 3 weeks as I found it comfortable yet cool in the best location Melbourne had to offer
