The hotel is right on the water and lots of fun to watch the ships going up and down the river. There is a wine tasting each night and a good complimentary breakfast. They also have a complimentary service where you get dropped off and picked up from town by a 1920s (?) town car. Loved it here! Will go back!

First visited Astoria in 1958 and was impressed with the Union Fish Cannery that once was on the Cannery Pier Hotel site well over the Columbia River. Just had the fine fortune of staying a night in wonderful splendor. My wife and I stayed for a week which included the 4th of July. We loved the room we stayed in and will stay again when we return to Astoria next year. I will request room 411. If you see it or stay in that room you'll understand. Love the wine tasting each night. This is a great place.
