Great food...I love the cabbage and Mac and Cheese!!!

Was very shocked. We chose to eat here after reading the reviews. It was served cafeteria style. Enough food served to you, for w meals. Great southern style food. Loved the fried corn, peas and corn bread. Awesome food. Waitress was very nice and on her toes. Highly recommend this restaurant. Don't let the outside look fool you. It is a great place to eat!!!

Yum! I can not describe how really good and delicious the food is here. It is not fancy, but the food is the best I have ever tasted in restaurants. We travel each week to eat here and we've been retired three years from working the downtown area. It is that good. Sometimes super busy, but the food is definitely worth waiting for. The price is fantastic for all that you get. We always take some home!

Enjoyed the whole time I was there. Very nice people and the food was so good. I will go back soon. Saw buses coming in with people from a convention. Loud, but the noise is not a problem and the food really tastes like one would cook at home. Has no place for internet, but if you come for the food, it is worth it!

I have fond memories of eating here as a little girl. I truly recommend eating here for breakfast.

I cannot express how good this place is! The food is really good and such large portions! It is an older building so if you have not been there before..do not let this throw you off! It is like a walk down memory lane for anyone over the age of 40, the way restaurants use to be... people walking in and sitting at booths or tables without having ...

Yumm! This is really good!! My husband and I found this place about a year ago and we try our best to eat here at least twice a month. I usually do a call-in order since we stay busy, but we have eaten inside and it is old fashioned and cozy. It is great!

This is the VERY best food in Birmingham for the money!! You get a lot and it is good!! The lines are long sometimes..but just wait...it is so good you will want to go back the next day! They have fresh food all the time and they bake continually. It is not fake....just really delicious!
