I have eaten here many times and I must say I have never had a bad meal. Decor and ambiance is great and everything is always clean when I've been there, including restrooms. I've even been in the kitchen right after lunch and it was clean. Downside is service, management seems to be nonexistent but waitresses seem to be diligent at doing what they can for the customer. Overall, great place.

For better pasta or steak you'll have to go to B'ham. The food is excellent but the service is slow, so don't be in hurry. Have some wine & enjoy. There's a pub in the back & more formal dining in front.
