By Far the best Gyro in the World. I have had Gyro's all over the world and nothing compares to the Plaka. There are none even in Greece as good or as large.

Order the gyro. AAAAAAAA+++++++++++++.
The grouper sandwich was also delicious.

Best gyro on the docks and the Greek beer is excellent. Go there every couple of weeks for my Plaka fix.

Found this place on spring break 22yrs. ago. No matter when or were when visiting in Fla. made it a point to visit and feast on the best GYRO known to mankind. I now live in Tarpon Springs and make sure I get a monthly fix.

Plaka is a down to earth family setting. Said to be like the "McDonald's" of Greece. Served cold beer. Wonderful Greek wines, both red and white. We had the Gyros (pronounce YE-RO) and the Tsatziki sauce is the best I've had at the Sponge Docks yet.....Casual.
