A popular place, but I don't think it's nearly as good as when it first opened. There is way too much filler now and not enough main course. For example, the fajita burrito is so full of rice that you can hardly find a piece of meat in it. Not worth half the price. The tamales, enchiladas, etc. are bland, but maybe the retirees like them that way. Nice atmosphere, though. I consider the place borderline acceptable.

Great food & margaritas. Excellent fish tacos. The upgraded gold margaritas are the best!

Good Food. Best Mexican in Venice area! Service is always good. Portions are on the small side though. They could use a bigger salsa cup, the one they use dont last very long!!

Great authentic mexican. One of our favorite places in Venice. Be sure to call ahead, could be a 2-hour wait on the weekend in-season.

Just had dinner at Mi Pueble. Everything was excellent! Crisp Taco's were cooked in the shell...like there are supposed to be. Salsa was great as was the beans and rice. Restaurant was busy but service was immediate. Waiter was there when I needed him...with more salsa etc. Owner came to table to ask how everything was and I told him it couldn't be better! So glad I found it!

This is what a mexican restaurant should be like. We love this place. Just went the other night at my daughters request (her birthday). They overheard us talking about it and surprised us with a mexican desert, song, sombrero, and a picture for us to take with us. And the food as always was great!
