We dined here twice 5 years ago. We didn't like the heavy, pancake batter on the fried fish. So, we avoided this place for years. Recently, we went back and the waitress told us they will prepare fish any way we like. So, we ordered it pan-fried. It was delicious!!

This is the best seafood restaurant in the area. One serving is enough to feed two people with leftovers. The prices are reasonable enough to eat there a couple times a week. The staff is friendly and attentive. You have to try their fresh strawberry pie, or at least order one to take home. You may want to make reservations on the weekend. This is truly an eating experience.

We love Stumpknockers. We are from Ontario Canada and come and visit family every year. We cannot wait to dine here. The gator tail bites are the best. The catfish is also very delicios. Excellent restaurant! We drive from Ocala all the time to eat there. We take all of our northern visitors there. Love it!
