Great atmosphere but the food stinks. My companion had some sort of seafood pizza that she didn't like. I had the fish and chips and it wasn't very good.

Nothing special. There are MANY more restaurants in Sarasota that offer better seafood than Phillippi Creek.

I just love this place! Whenever I get to Sarasota which is about once a year, I insist this be my first stop! The raw oysters are soooo good! Love the hush puppies too!

The atmosphere is always fun. The service is fast and friendly and the view of the water is lovely. The wait is definitely worth it and the bartenders serve delicious drinks! And if you want to do a little touristy shopping, the shop keepers right next door are wonderful.

The ambiance and food is very good, very old Florida with the generous portions and informal atmosphere. The only disappointment has been the crab cakes, but I had just returned from Baltimore, land of excellent crab cakes, so perhaps an unfair comparison. Everything else was great.

I come to eat there all the way from Minnesota! It is the only thing I "must" do when I visit! Anyone who thinks otherwise needs to sober up.

This has been in the same location for many years and still has the sam ambience and good food it started with.
