This was a marginal at best lunch stop. The "live" music was hokey but I guess gives this that little bit extra. We tried later the next day in the hopes that the food would be better presented, alas on a trip to the restroom I spied the kitchen. This was a nice way to end our evening on 12/30/08 even with a minor issue.
We picked a nice table on the patio to watch the sunset in the Gulf and do some people watching.
We were offered crackers, cheese and grapes before our meal.

We had dinner here over the Memorial Day Weekend & were very disappointed.

We had one entree off the specials menu, grouper stuffed with shrimp & crab ($35). It was so dry that we only got thru 1/3 of it before giving up. To the restaurants credit, they took it off the bill. I ordered the tempura shrimp w. a horseradish-marmalade sauce ($26). ...

Very disappointing meal especially given the prices. Most entrees were $25-30 and service was mediocre, at best. Ordered the sesame tuna which was overdone and received attitude when I sent it back. As the meal wore on, the flies got worse and we could not get out fast enough. Go to the Mucky Duck or the Bubble Room.

We just had dinner at the Keylime Bistro and it was spectacular!! Dining under the stars with live entertainment. We had our servers suggestions the grouper topped with chunks of lobster and keylime hollandaise and the shrimp and scallop risotto with portobello mushroom - both were awesome!! Great fun, great food and wonderful atmosphere under the stars - I can't wait to go back!!

We just got back from a two week visit and went to the Key Lime several times and were never disappointed. The staff was friendly and helpful and offered great suggestions, the restaurant was clean and comfortable, the entertainment was good and the food was out of this world! It is a little more expensive than some of the other places, but you won't get mediocrity! The specials are delicious and different.

This was our 1st time back since Hurricance Charley ruied out place at South Seas. We found food to be much worse than previously, everything was cold although place was empty. Flies were out of control! Plus they have the audacity to charge .50/roll when you're spending $20/entree. Our complaints fell on deaf ears. Bubble Room is still best value/fun for your money. RC Otters also owned, I believe by same people, was equally awful.

Forgo the Bubble Room's huge pieces of cake and sub-par food for the Key Lime Bistro's casual and islandly feel. Food is excellent, service is with a smile, and sitting outside when the weather is cooler is one of life's simple pleasures.
