I went to Perkins and walked out. The place looks nice and inviting but it smells like moldy dirty carpet. The carpet needs to be cleaned I noticed the same smell at Sonny's BBQ in Bartow too. I miss Chicago Restuarants...:(OVERALL

The food is good and the service too. Sometimes there's a wait but this is a successful small restaurant. They need to eliminate margarine and only have butter. This is quite a request apparently.
Another nice place to go in Bartow is LJ's Diner which has been around for only 9 months now. Never a problem getting seated there and MOST things are homemade.OVERALL
