We had lunch here and it was not too crowded...we had three adults and three kids. First, the onion rings are a must and the horseradish sauce is great with them. We all had grouper sandwich and the fried was more than most can eat so you get your moneys worth. About the same as Crabby Bills but the onion rings were to die for. Service was good.

This eatery gets a mixed review from me. On one hand the food was very good - but conversely, the overall " dining experience" was awful. My grouper sandwich was superb in both taste and portion. What a large piece of tasty grilled grouper...mmmm. But, the noise in this place made me question my hearing. Perhaps I was going deaf. ...

I was really looking forward to sharing a new experience with someone special. Besides no atmosphere, so loud you couldn't hold a conversation, the food and presentation was mediocre, and service was poor. Suggestion, full length doors besides saloon doors would do nicely in closing in the kitchen hiding the dirty floors. Sadly, there ended up being nothing special at all about the entire night - except regrets! I won't be back!

This is where I take my Out of Town friends for a Grouper Sandwich on the Beach. In my opinion, it beats Frenchy's hands-down! The service is excellent, although there's often a wait during busy hours (for good reason). During my first visit, my server was Wendy, and although the crowd I brought wasn't considering Onion Rings, she ...

Went to Dockside Dave's for the first time last week, it was awesome... Drove from Bradenton to eat there with a friend and it was well worth the drive. We had the grouper sandwich which was out of this world, also had grouper fritters and the ever so yummy onion rings. The service was fast the waitress was very accommodating and the atmosphere ...

We've been to Dockside Dave's several times in the past at their old locations and have always enjoyed the food. This time we visited their new Madeira Beach spot and were really disappointed.
The first issue was getting in: we were told we'd have a 1/2 hour wait, but it took an hour and a half to get us in. The new location is ...

The BEST KEPT SECRET IN TAMPA BAY for Grouper and more!
In the past 17 years, my family and I have never been disappointed. Great place to take snowbirds for fresh seafood and a fun atmosphere!
They'll even clean and cook what you catch......can you get any fresher than that?
If you have to wait for a table.............it's certainly worth the wait!

been living on the beach many years - had dinner here for the first time just recently. don't know what the rave's all about. Very small dining room, very noisy, no parking, food was very bland (yes, even the fish). Server was not friendly, we felt like we were being rushed because there were people waiting to eat. I've had much better seafood at other restaurants on the beach. No reason to go back.

If you are looking for excellent, fresh seafood...
A life-long St Pete resident told me about this place. Since then (going on 7 years now)....every visit to Florida includes multiple visits for dinner.
THE MENU: If you are looking for Grouper, look no further! You have a choice of a 1/2 lb Grouper Sandwich or a Black Grouper Dinner. Both are amazing. Cooked your ...
