Very good! Grew up in Alabama, lived in Texas and Kentucky. I've had good barbecue across the south and this is good BBQ.

Sides left something to be desired, I'm sure others may find them delicious, I just felt something was missing. 4/5

First Choice was recommended to me 3 years ago. I thought we had good BBQ in Chicago until I visited this place. Since then, every winter I have gone as much as 80 miles out of my way to eat here. I leaned from the owner all the recipes were obtained from family members and they are OUTSTANDING! The place is hard to find in the corner of a shopping center but it is worth the effort to locate. You will NOT be disappointed.

Best BBQ in the area. Sauce is tasty and the sides are all good especially the collards.

Being from South Carolina, I thought we had the market cornered on ribs and BBQ, but this place is one of the best I have ever had! If you're in the Tampa area, you MUST go here to try these ribs! They are flavorful enough to eat without sauce, and even better with it!

This place is soooo southern and good. The pulled pork, ribs and fries are the best (not to mention their sweet tea and secret sauce) It has a big fan to cool off the place and they are a bit like the soup nazi on Seinfeld.. figure out what you want and give your order quick...move along.. once they know you, it's cool and you know the drill! Hole in the wall, but I always take mine to go. Yum!!!

There is no competition. Pd, Firemen, AAA, and hot chicks, this is the only place for BBQ in THE SOUTH! I am a foodie, and would wager a paycheck. "Next!" (you'll see if u go.)

I do not think I could ever go to a place who has the BEST southern BBQ ... wow. The service was great, the food was awesome and man ... did I already food was great cause if I didn't .. Let me say it. The food was SO GOOD.
