I absolutely LOVE this place. I ate at the one located on US1 when I interned nearby, now I visit the new location in Plantation because it is closer to my house. Both locations are equally fantastic. Anyone I have introduced to this place has instantly loved it.

This place is excellent. The ingredients are always fresh & delicious.One of the few places to get great tasting healthy food at reasonable prices. The staff is always courteous & efficient. It is an awesome eating experience.

ZONA FRESCA is really good food, my first time I ordered the siesta steak taco. I was so full I really had to take a siesta. I would recommend it to anyone.

It's fast, healthy, great tasting, and cheap . . .except don't park on the swale . . .Expensive ticket . . .

We go 2 to 3 times a week and sometimes bring it home . . .

While I've yet to find real Mexican food in Lauderdale, this place is everything the others have said -- popular, fast, inexpensive and tasty.

The guys at Zona Fresca move very quickly, so even on their busiest night you won't wait long for your food.
There are always plenty of fresh chopped tomatoes and salsas waiting for you at the little fresh fixin's bar on the side. Friday Night is their busiest night so it can be a bit of a hassle to find a place to sit down. There are a few outdoor seats as well.

As a couple, we have tried to spend over $20 for a meal at Zona Fresca but it's just not possible. For a very frugal Saturday afternoon Mexican fix, two people can share steak nachos and leave full. The burritos are stuffed with freshness and are delicious. My favorite are the fish tacos - fried fish wrapped in a fresh taco. As far as amibance goes - if its a cool day, you can sit outside at the tables and watch the US1 traffic.
