Went there with my family on 6/26/09 and was pretty overrated except for the food. The only complaint I have about the food is that it is over priced and the prices may be only as such due to the amount of attention the establishment gets. There is even a page in the menu showing all the famous people who have gone there. Know what? Who cares. ...

Crabs, crabs, and more crabs. Most of these crustaceans do not come from the local waters but they do a good job of preparing these tasty critters. I've been here several times and usually get the king crab. There is nothing unique about the preparation and since all the king crab comes from Alaskan waters, it is no fresher than anything you ...

I wouldnt go here. The service was horrible. Dont order the calamari which was more like fried rubber bands. We had them make us another batch to come out just as rubbery. The crab cakes were blah had better from Captin Ds. Ordered shrimp that was nothing spectacular. We sat for 20 minutes before someone finally took our order. Never came back to ...

Great crab at a great price, for the quantity and quality. Taste is good, and if they add MSG, that is OK. I don't eat this every day! It may not be as good as San Francisco, but hey, SF is 3000 miles away and at least 50% more in cost. The Rustic Inn sure rivals New Orleans, and you don't have as many (I never saw ANY) crawling critter to keep you company!!!
Great restaurant, atmosphere, real Florida, but...there is a high amount of MSG in the garlic sauce. Be careful if your are sensitive to MSG, otherwise have fun.
I really enjoyed the fresh seafood. The atmosphere was great.

This is the second time I've been here. Last time the service was pretty good even though the place was packed. So we came back. This time the service was non-existent even though there there wasn't many people there. The food also was cold ( ordered $41.00 alaska King crab ). The manager wouldn't do anything to fix the problem ...

Best Seafood Ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/21/06
The Garlic Crabs and cralegs are awesome. If you go sit on the ptio and watch the fisherman try to catch the fish jumping out of the water.
They have the best garlic crabs, especially the Alaskan King Crabs. My favorite restaurant for the last 15 years.

Good food, local place for crabs

Rustic Inn has been here forever, and surely looks like it, could use alittle updating to it's decor. But first impressions should not be your last with this place. Very good seafood, soups, and service, especially if you sit at the bar, the best service in the restaurant! Try the clam digger-bloody mary with a clam at the bottom! Shrimp ...
