Huge Great Rolls, service and management are less than pleasant. I have eaten here for about 8 years and hands down they have the best variety in rolls, and they are big( my favorites Tokyo and Thunder). However, management and staff are not pleasant at all. So if you go for the food and ignore the service, you will have a great experience. If ...

Try these: Tokyo Roll, Ninja Tuna Crispy... Atmosphere: I preferred the more traditional environment to the updated ultra-mod Tokyo nightclub look...but it's interesting to say the least. The food: Awesome & highly inventive, a treat for the eyes & soul. The price: I can't believe that some people actually expect sushi to be cheap. If you want cheap, go to your grocery store...the sushi at Amura is a work of art!

Having lived in Japan for a majority of my life, This place is not worth the Yen/dollar. Owner and staff are not friendly, and the cost is expensive. I go monthly in hopes that it would great better, but yet I have not seen the change. Better to try the other two sushi places downtown. If anything is positive about this place, it has to be it is clean, and a great location.

I hate the customer service at Amura. I used to go regularly for lunch since I work in the downtown area. The servers had always been unfriendly but one day it was taken to whole nother level. I was at a lost for words, when my sister was accused by the waiter for having been there before and left without paying. The waiter refused to serve us. My ...

I too have had an unpleasant experience with the Downtown Amura location. The manager was extremely rude when I tried to get a table for 4. Mind you, I got there early to get a table so that we wouldn't have to wait an hour +. Since the whole party was not present (although on their way), I could not be seated. I explained that I had their ...

I am appalled by the fact that this resturant received an average of four stars. Although the sushi is decent, my party and I were treated like children when questioning our server about their "ingredient" policy. A friend of mine ordered a tuna roll and was suprised when it appeared with eel, eel sauce, asparagus, and cream cheese (none ...

The worst customer service I have ever received at a restaurant. The manager at the downtown location was rude and condescending to me and my party. As a local business owner, I am appauled by her behavior. I have been an Amura customer for over eight years. But now I refuse to ever give them a good referral, or a cent of my hard earned money.
