On 10/5/09, my wife and I walked there from our hotel for our evening meal. It was an outside atmosphere, the waitress was nice, and the huge shrimp dinner that we split, was just great. The beer and mixed drinks were also tasty. Great place to relax after a hard day at the beach.

    Opinion of a local:

Below average food in general. I have consistantly had spotty service here, where the entree comes out before the salad, with half-hearted apologies when it does. They will throw the most delicious key lime pie at you as a consolation for your troubles, which is almost worth the gamble.

Above average brunch menu, most ...

This was our second time at Flounders. Went the last time we were in PB Beach which was in 2002. Food was good and portions were large. Good atmosphere. Service was outstanding. Our waitress was Loretta who was friendly and very efficient.

What a great place. The atmosphere is awesome. It opens up to the beach. They have an area for the kids to play in. They also have volleyball nets set up. There was a tournament going on while we ate. The food was good... nothing to write home about. However, the atmosphere is very relaxing. I great place to get away and just enjoy a meal.

The food at Flounder's is overpowered by heavy and sugary sauces and I foundit most unpleasant. This is NOT southern cooking at its best!

Food is good, atmosphere is great, and prices are good. HOWEVER, I do not like french fries and it is very dissapointing that I am not allowed to substitute the french fries for smashed potatoes. It is also disappointing that there menu has recently changed and that you do not get a salad or bowl of soup with the shrimp boat platter.
