I wanted to give this place 5 stars, because the food was great and the serve staff were courteous and fast, once we were seated -- but -- when we got there we were told that there would be a 10 minute wait, so we sat at the bar and got a drink to pass the time -- that turned into 15 minutes, and when my husband asked about a table, we were told ...

Typical tourist trap. Wait times are ridiculous, scene is goofy, and food is just o.k. Do yourself a favor and go to a local seafood spot where they get shrimp directly from the boats and cook it that day.

What an interesting place with friendly servers and good food that is child and group friendly. The fod is tasty, although a bit pricer, you must expect that a a place with this amount of noteriety and being on the beach. Beautiful views also abound. Keep up the good work. Clam chowder is thick, creamy and tasty; fish sandwiches and meals are delicious as are the chicken sandwiches and pulled pork.

Awesome place to eat! They have a great menu and are tied with MaiTai, a bar grille, next door so you can enjoy two places with the same quality service. Food tasted fantastic and I liked the Forrest Gump quiz the servers gave us at the end of our stay. They also celebrated my birthday with the whole server team. Located right Next to the Hilton and the Ocean Shoppe mini-mall. Definitely want to check it out.

My husband and I had the best mahi mahi we've ever tasted at Bubba Gump's! You can't beat the food or the service. The servers are so friendly and cheerful and eager to help!

Bubba Gump is the best seafood restaurant I have eaten in. The first one was in Honolulu, we went several times. Most recently we visited Daytona Beach. We drove 4 hours just to eat there. I want to own one so I can eat here all the time! The decor of the restaurant was nice, food was excellent, and the staff was very nice and prompt! Seriously I want to own one!

I had totally enjoyed the Cajun shrimp appetizer. That was very, very tasty. I tasted that for hours after. I also had the Captain Dan's Drunk Shrimp, but it paled in comparison. Service was excellent with a sign system. Very gimmicky restaurant, but it's great.

While it is a little on touristy side and a little expensive, it's worth it. What do you expect, you are in a tourist town right on the ocean. The food is very good, good service and a very unique atmosphere.
