My family stayed on Tybee Island the week of New Year's 2008. We ate at Cafe Loco. Great food and great atomosphere! Non smoking... which we love!!!! Little pricy, but awesome food! Service was pretty good, but there was only one other table besides us.OVERALL

We have visited Cafe Loco on the last four of our outings to Tybee- the last time we ate at the restaurant( July 24th), the waitress was nasty, took an hour to get our food, charged for a glass of water and sour cream for our potatoes, and got the checks wrong three times- very sadOVERALL

At one time, I loved to go to Cafe Loco when visiting Tybee. I will no longer go there after my last visit. The waitress was very rude, and the food was overcooked. We waited about an hour for our food. Be careful if you need water. You will be charged for this sort of thing, including a small bit of sour cream if your "Fully loaded" ...SHOW FULL REVIEW

It is true that this is more bar than grill but I felt very comfortable there in early evening with our 10 year old son. The food was above average and reasonably priced compared to most seafood restaurants in the area. Very casual and relaxed.OVERALL

Cafe Loco is a so-soDeceptive setting on a small river, this place is nothing more than a alcoholic's gathering hole for beer talk among its few customers. Much better options on historic Tybee Island.OVERALL

The best wings in the southCafe Loco is what I refer to as my kind of hole in the wall. It isn't pretentious or snooty and the prices are reasonable for what you get. It is easily my favorite casual dining on Tybee Island. I typically eat there at least once a week.
