I lived in Macon Ga for 10 years. my family and i use to eat Nu-way hotdogs. They are ok, mainly it's the history of the establishment more than the actual food. The best Hot-dog in the state of Ga is located in Albany,Ga. The establishment is named Jimmy hotdogs located in downtown Albany. The have the best chilli by far and the way they steam their onions is unreal. You have to taste on to even understand. No comparison

I beg to differ, Maddog, I live in Cordele, Ga and have for the past 13 years.I moved here in 96 from Macon Georgia. The poolroom hotdog here is sooooo nasty, nearly tasteless!, not to mention the excessive stomach problems it gives you and the worst heartburn you have ever had. Nu-Way is the ONLY way!!!! They are absolutley fabulous!!! Have one ...

We moved to Macon in 1951..and I grew up with nu-way hotdogs.
To the dork who now lives in California...no one was saying eat one every day for every meal. But a good little trip down memory lane never hurt anybody. My sister and I knew Johnny the owner or manager and after I moved to Atlanta my sister continued to take her kids to Nu-way as an occasional treat. Good Memories, Great Hotdogs, Good times.

I grew up in Macon and everytime I go home to visit, I HAVE to make a stop at Nu-Way. The chili dogs are the absolute best. Haven't had anything like it, anywhere else.

Can't eat them regularly, but when I get the craving for them, they always hit the spot. Love 'em.

I can't wait to introduce my son to his first Nu-Way Weiner in the Cotton Avenue location in Downtown Macon, Georgia. A great lunch after a walking stroll through Cotton Avenue. My usual? Slaw Dog, All-the-Way, a Chocolate Malt and the best Sweet Tea in the South!

As us Maconites made sure Oprah discovered for herself, you haven't eaten in Macon until you've eaten at Nu-Way. I was given the Nu-way rite of passage by my grandmother as a tot. Even though she was not a native, she found the little red weiners almost immediately after her arrival here three years prior. I love and will always love this ...

Visited Macon for the first time and had breakfast at the NuWay. The food was great, the staff is regular and down home. They know folks by their first name and are quick with the preparation and service. Lots of friendly talk and laughter among the staff. I felt right at home.
