My family stayed on Tybee Island the week of New Year's 2008. We tried the Sugar Shack once... they were out of every flavor of ice cream minus 3 or 4! That's alot considering they advertise 24 flavors! Also, I would never pay $5 for ice cream!

The service was incredibly SLOW and RUDE! The people smoked while cooking food. The owner yelled at our group leader. It was very unsanitary. The milkshakes weren't very well mixed. We will never go back!!!

The place was dirty. We felt like calling the Health Inspectors. The owner was rude and the service terrible. Recommendation: Avoid.

we stopped in for breakfast, we were disappointed. you go up to a counter and place your order and they call your number. it was ok but nothing to write home about!
