I had a schezuan tofu carry-out from here. I immediatly took it to the GO Bar and devoured it. I'm not a tofu guy at all. I didn't know the difference. That's skill. Big ups.

The Grit is the best restaurant in Athens, hands-down! They have a wide-ranging menu, and all my non-vegetarian friends love it! They also have the best staff ever!

And one of the best in the nation. The menu is very large and diverse, and there is a large rotating selection of 'veggies' for the three veggie plate. There are wonderful vegan cakes. The cooks are not always consistent, however, and sometimes the fare will be mediocre.

The Grit is a famous restaurant in town, and everyone will recommend it. I am not a vegetarian, and I very much enjoy -some- of the selections. I love the grit! I use the cookbook so much it is almost time to buy another one! Anytime I come back to Athens it is my first place I have to stop! I love the golden bowl and the tofu reuben sandwhich! The place is just awesome

One of Athen's best restaurants! Yum! I didn't like Tofu until I went there. Now I am craving Grit tofu! Get the Golden Bowl with Yeast Gravy. I can't tell how good it is! You'll just have to try it. You should buy the Grit cookbook, but you won't be able to make the Golden Bowl as good as they do! So, come visit this cute little restaurant on Prince Ave.

This is a great place for some decent vegeterian food choices.
