This is a whole in the wall, local, family owned and operated that serves it's meals on styrofoam. It may not be fancy but the food sure is! It's fresh, fast, and fantastic! Usually food is caught the same day and they have more selection than you could imagine! I love to get the Shack Attack fried and they always have yummy sides! I visit ...

We ate there today after reading the reviews on Yahoo. The one about going after the lunch crowd was the most helpful. We went for lunch at about 2:45. The food was great. The prices were even better. The sweet potato corn bread was AWESOME. It's like a dessert. It is a very small place. The reviews on Yahoo were very helpul. The ...

Was wonderful. After reading the reviews, had to try! Was well worth the search to find this small place. The food was good - service was ok, but for a wait on yourself - it was ok. Would recommend the food. The locals were rude there - but nothing against the Sea Shack!

Nothing to look at. But.... Great food at a great price. If you were driving around looking for a place to eat: 1) you would NEVER find it (it is very well hidden) and 2) you wouldn't even think twice about stopping at this unlit 1 story shack. But you would be missing out. This place is a must try. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Hilton Head.

Best seafood at a low price. Small and cramped but the food is worth it. Has been overrun in recent years by to many tourists in the summer time. Winter is great with less waiting time.

big let down
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 12/10/06
Just returned from my first trip to Hilton Head. I had read alot of positive information on the Sea Shack, plus I saw it on Food Network ($40 a day). I was expecting big things, but unfortunately for me, it was a big let down. I got the shrimpburger. They take shrimp and mix it with breading and make a "burger" patty out of it. It had ...

Sea Shack
By hsdees2, 10/13/06
I discovered the Sea Shack when I moved to Bluffton. All the locals told me this was the place to go to. Fresh fish and cheap prices and very well cooked. The name says it, Sea SHACK. It is a Shack (very clean but a shack). Both my wife and I love the place and enjoy the wonderful fresh sea food. The TV Cook on the Food Channel, Rachael Ray gave ...
