Let's just say the locals were standing out front, still dressed in their church clothes, when we stopped by on a Sunday. In the South, the 'after church' crowd indicates it's a GREAT place. Hoskins is the Locals local. Their fried chicken is the best around, and their Friday lunch special (Calabash Shrimp plate lunch) is not to be missed. For value and quality, and a step back in time, Hoskins is not to be missed.OVERALL

Best lunch at Myrtle BeachGo for lunch (closed on Monday). Meat with 3 vegetables and tea, is $6.18 total. Chopped BBQ, Fried Shrimp and Country Style Steak are all excellent choices. Fried squash, corn and homemade biscuits are the best. Hoskins is located in the Ocean Drive section of North Myrtle Beach.
