we were here two weeks ago and the service was quite poor compared to what we expect. I had fish and it had so many flavors going on it wasnt worth eating. The homemade potato chips were excellent.OVERALL

Poor service & management, good food: took almost 25 minutes to get our cocktails which contained no alcohol - just tonic on the rocks. Ordered a bottle of white wine with our meal - our waitress brought the bottle shortly before the meal, poured a taste for me - warm, very warm, I commented. The best place to eat in CharlestonThe best service, best food around town, in a town with ton of great places to eat. For lunch try the meatloaf, a steal at under 15 dollars. For dinner the beef with cheese (i forget it's menu title) is very good. The grits are great. The burger with oysters are a top choice as well. Worst Service in Charleston, Very Good FoodWhile the food was really superb, the service was the worst I have ever had. Our waiter spent ALL of his time at the table across from us. Not just Southern style but Southern WITH StyleWe decided to splurge on one meal during a recent trip to Charleston. After seeing how quickly the restaurants filled up the previous day, we stopped in about 530pm. Great upscale spin on traditional favs like grits.
