Most excellent. Not cheap by any means, but very good. Awesome dinner to close out a Christmas get away.
Good food, good drinks, good neighbors. If I ever make it back to Charleston, I'll be stopping back in.

This was one of the best dining experiences of my life. The service was impeccable and the food sublime. The foie gras was simply put the best thing I have ever tasted. The duck was perfectly cooked. My wife found the lamb a bit on the spicy side, which came as a surprise to her. I enjoyed it, although I would admit I've had better lamb (Kima ...

This is one of those situations where you expect great service and great food after reading all those terrific reviews and got just the opposite. We were rushed there . Don't you hate it when you order a cocktail and then food and your drink comes ( a manhattan) with your salad. Now here I am with a whisky and a salad. The waiter had a ...

I went to eat at Peninsula Grill for the first time not too long ago and was truly blown away. I would definitely rate it as one of the best restaurants in Charleston along with Tristan's and Anson's. Everything was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. My husband got scallops and I got fish which was accompanied by some very unique ...

We visit here quite often and the food is great. Last time was a hiccup with a frozen steak delivered the first time and a raw steak the second time. The steak was so tough I couldnt eat it.

We absolutley Love this restaurant!!!! Make sure and call early for reservations you wouldn't want to be left out!!!!
But, I went there with my fiance in Summer 2005, and we both thought it was wonderful. The crab & lobster cakes are to die for. It was a little louder than I was hoping for a romantic dinner on a Friday night, but the waiter was wonderful and very helpful. Up there with the lobster and crab cakes is the Banana pudding dessert. I believe it is ...

Not 4 Diamond experience

I am a concierge and my guests have been coming back from this restaurant uninspired. This is a restaurant that should wow its guests, but do not. I have recieved too many "mixed" reviews to suggest it to my guests anymore. Hopefully, they will step it up soon.

Our first time

We attended with some good friends - and some good friends of theirs. Table for six was a last hours accommodation (so we could be included in the group), and though it was near the kitchen, it was a good spot.
Service was generally slow; the food arrived later than I would have liked. But the entrees were very good. My "bourbon-glazed ...
