Excellent place for dinner but they are most famous for their breakfast. Vast selection of veggies (hoppin john is black eyed peas and rice?!) and the shrimp and grits had a nice spice but the grits couldda been a bit fluffier. Nice atmosphere, worth a visit.

Had breakfast, sort of a nouve huevos ranchero, wife had biscut sandwich. Both were good, not great. Service was attentive. Buttermilk pie worth the trip, would go back.
Dinner at Hominy Grill was fabulous! My husband saw the restaurant on Rachel Ray's "$40 a Day" show, so we had to try it. We enjoyed the casual atmosphere and surprising twist on some old southern favorites. We're still talking about the grits. We will definatley be back!
