This place is essential if you are vegetarian - if not, it's still well-worth checking out with the variety of stuff they offer. I wouldn't call this an inexpensive place to eat, but it's well worth it if you can and you can order a variety of individual portions. The wall murals and surrealistic paintings just add to the awesomeness of the food in this urban treasure of the lower Lex district.

We traveled to NC to see the Biltmore and to eat at Rosetta's Kitchen. Not sure which we enjoyed more! My daughter in-law is vegetarian and I chose this place for her based on what I'd seen once on tv. It was GREAT! The food was delicious, atmosphere cozy. I only wish it was closer to us, but would consider driving 3 1/2 hours just to eat there again...

Tried Rosetta's based on the other reviews. They are right- the food is fantastic, even for diehard carnivores.

Rosetta's is as eclectic as the Asheville I moved to years ago. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is well, guess it depends on what time of day or night you are there but I'd say funky, healthy and great people watching..
