Nice people, nice atmosphere, great pastries and free wifi all a plus. No bold or robust coffees available on tap. Common in this part of the country where everyone likes medium roasts or blander. But come on! Have some dark roast and offer to grind it and make a cup of drip manually if you call yourself a real coffee shop!

Good java. Fun atmosphere. Great place to relax with friends. I'll be sure to be back the next time I make it to Southport.

Some people leaving a review believe Starbucks in a large metropolitan area is better...well I'm from a large metropolitan area and I have been to Starbucks. Southport is like time standing still and the relaxing atmosphere, courteous service, and excellent coffee added to the enjoyment. A ++++++
It's slim pickins' when it comes to coffee in Southport and I often find myself getting coffee here. Their prices are higher than Starbucks and the consistancy isn't there. The staff doesn't seem to care either. Not my favorite coffee joint!

I only wish that it were closer to where we stay so I could have a "mocha" each and every day! There are some folks from the town of St James that congregate there in the mornings and I can catch up on the place we will ...
