My Hubby and I go here at least twice when we visit Southport. Food is GREAT and you can sit and watch the sunset. My Hubby recomends the yellowfin tuna samwich and cucumber salad. I always get their specials. YUMMY!!

Started coming down in 1999. First view of the place is not overwhelming, but the food is down right excellant. Haven't been down in a little while, but you can't beat the food and the sunset while you are eating your food......Ate there for our 1st anniversary...We live in Pennsylvania.

I lived on Oak Island when I was younger and we visit every year, and we always eat at the Provision Company! I can't wait we are going back this month!

If you have been to Provision Company in Southport, you must try to go the Provisions in Holden Beach. The menu is slightly larger with grilled grouper and the shrimp burgers are amazing! The view is just as good and there is more room for seating, waiting, docking for boats, and a larger bar. This place is a must go!

I live about 4 hours away from the "P", but I've been there a dozen times over the years and love it every time. I like the shrimp and crab cakes the best. The view is great and it has a fun atmosphere. My teenage son even enjoys it! And that's saying alot!

The place was crowded - the chairs uncomfortable - the food was low quality and small amounts of it. The view was great.

Steamed shrimp is fresh and wonderful but a little pricey considering the food is served on paper plates. Keep away from the house salad . . . Lettuce was wilted, veggies not crisp and the only dressing choice was the the house dressing - it didn't taste like much. My suggestion is to buy fresh shrimp from the roadside guy along the highway outside of Southport ($4 / lb) and steam it yourself. Just as good!

Food was pretty good. Very crowded! Hardly a relaxing atmosphere! Our table did end up with some free onion rings....they were dumped in my dad's lap as the waiter was delivering food to the table near us!

If I would get enough food on my plate, I could possibly give it a decent rating. We go home and eat, AGAIN! Too much $$$ for no food.

Very busy place but it is because the food is sooo good! We love going there we have found that during the week it is very quiet. Dinner is brought to you in a flash and it is worth waiting for a table. I hope they never sell out and close they have one of the Best Restaurants in Brunswick County!
