Been there before and food was great, second time not as great. The shrimp bread appetizer is delicious, though. But the entrees weren't so amazing. New favorite restaurant on the Coast is Beach Shop & Grill. May not sound like a fancy restaurant, but it is.

Today we ate here and the crab dip is excellent. I ordered the oriental chicken and it was terrible, It was so oily my stomach hurt, well I didn't eat it all I tried but it was so bad, the waitress made it right and didn't charge me, my husband had the tuna sandwich he loved it. the ambiance was great.

This place is my #1 when it comes to bad food, and service. I have posted here a few times but somehow my reviws get knocked off. I wouldn't go there for free food! Been here 4 times, wife, kid, visiting family, friends all agree. Yuck. Dont waste your money. Atleast we gave them 4 times to do better. If you go, dont forget the Malox.

Great food, awesome service and fun and relaxing ambiance. Busy place on weekends get there early!

My fiance and I are from out of town and we went to Elijah's a few weeks ago for his birthday and had a wonderful experience. The view was beautiful, our waitress was so nice and friendly and the food was really good as well. I had BBQ Shrimp and he had a fried platter of shrimp, scallops and fish. Both were delicious! One of the best outdoor eateries in town, I would not eat inside tho...good beer, pretty cheap, and on the riverwalk.

very bad food, everything fried and greasy, hated it

I will state it very simply. My husband, daughter and I came down with food posioning. Never again will we go there. We all had the same chicken dish. Maybe we just got there on a bad night.

This is a nice place to eat lunch or dinner. The crab cakes are terrific over looking the Cape Fear River.
