I am not a food and fine dining expert, but I know a few things. This restaurant is a waste of a nice downtown location. Everything about the whole place is not conductive to a good meal. The bar is terrible also. I wouldn't wish this restaurant on my worst enemy. Just FYI - we've gone to this place five times to get a good sample to write a review.

The place was once a 4 star in our book – but unfortunately over the last couple years the owners have decided to concentrate more on the bar scene in this restaurant than the food. Pear Street offers some great food and atmosphere. Nice bar and good drinks. Drinks can be a bit pricey. Fun nonetheless.

Also try, Pinole Creek cafe. Right across from Pear Street. Superb price fixed dishes.
