is good when it is good and can be bad when it is bad. not as consistent as it use to be. some recent shrimp orders have been soggy and greasy. chicken was undercooked recently too.....for the most part though, the meals are still good.

Worthy! Delicious! Most Satisfying!Visits to this family style restaurant are a staple for many residents of Edenton and the surrounding area. The Chicken Kitchen feeds a large group of the working class population of Edenton every day for lunch as well as Sunday patrons emptying from earlier church services.
