The cornbread will spoil your dinner LOL eat it all up -it is sooooo good, and the Hatteras style chowder is wonderful.
I wish I lived closer to go there more ofter, but if I need to go to Hatteras, I leave extra time to go to SONNY'S firstOVERALL

Great burger. Maybe best on the island but the seafood was sub Par. Was not local seafood at all. shrimp were from the gulf I think. If u want a steak or burger then this is your place. If you want good local seafood look else where.OVERALL

We stopped in for breakfast one morning while on vacation and we would not recommend this place. For one,they do not know how to make a cheese omelet. There were very few people in the restaurant but the waitress acted like she had more important things to do than to refill our glasses. Food is not good at all.OVERALL

This restaurant was mentioned to us while we were at the tourism office in Cape Hatteras.
We arrived at the restaurant at about 1pm (and I noticed they closed at 2pm)
We ordered water to drink. It tasted awful even with lemon & sweetener.
My son is on a special diet and I asked a few questions about the menu. The waitress seemed annoyed ...SHOW FULL REVIEW
