None better, well worth the 1100 mile trip from Wichita, Kansas

My father-in-law took me there 30 some years ago and I still remember them as the BEST Chili dog I ever had.
I have had hundreds since then BUT these Chili dogs from Fairmont still leave me with found memories and a great taste in my mouth. I gotta get some more or at least the recipe.

These dogs have cult status. If you grow up on these, other dogs will never do. The only problem is the owner. After years of his attitude and sarcasm, I get my fix elsewhere when I'm in town. So I rate the dogs five star and the service 1 = 4.

I used to go to yanns in morgantown everyday. i would usually get 6. Every visit to morgantown I stopped by. The last 6 or 7 times I was in fairmont they were not open. Russ used to tell me thay shipped out sauce, but never found out how. I moved to florida and hoped to catch them at Disney, but never did. All I want are a dozen sent to me once a month.

I lived in Fairmont all my life with the exception of a couple of years prior to moving for good in 2001. Let me tell you, NO ONE in NC has a clue what goes into great dog sauce.
