Absolutely delicious. I had stuffed shells and they were perfectly al dente, cheese filling was great, and the sauce was excellent. My friend had eggplant parmesan, very crunchy and not too much breading. I recommend this restaurant for good prices and great food.

As a vegetarian, I appreciate the non fish and non meat selections.
My favorite is the Josephine Sandwich/ Panini style, seasoned fries = To die for.
    Real value for money, too.

  • Make me wish Weirton had an Olive Garden
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/30/06
This place doesn't live up to the hype that some Weirtonians give it. If you like soupy sauce & watered down pasta than it is great.

  • Worth a visit once or twice a week.

One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever had the privilege to visit. The only other one that compares is "Favio's" in Charleston, WV.

Very good food. Good portions of food as well. Would recommend to anyone, even "the DONALD".

  • Mario's----one of the best
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/17/04
My wife and I used to live in Weirton, and we ate at Mario's quite a bit. It was our place, besides Happy's (which no longer exists due to the floods), to go for special occasions. The food is very good; my personal favorite is the Chicken Parmagiana. Try it, but make sure you're hungry, first! Portions are big. Go to Mario's...you won't be sorry.
