I enjoyed the hamburger layered with peanut butter, washed down with a bottle of german beer. The atmosphere is a little gloomy and depressing. It's an old building with creaky wooden floors and that musty old smell. I can picture 3 or 4 grandmothers sewing in the back room. I agree with the other comments about the food being overpriced. We'll go back when we run out of other choices.

This is the best dinner and cocktail place there is! The chef does amazing things! Only complaint is that he sometimes changes the menu and favorites are only on there seasonally. A great dining experience every time. If you don't like to spend money on fine dining, though, this is not the place for you.

Can't Buy a Smile
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/05/07
The proof is in the details, and the little things were absent from this little restaurant resulting in a mediocre meal with a hefty bill and bland service. If you want to be a high-priced fine dining restaurant, then act like one. From the moment we entered, not a smile was to be had from the surly hostess. It was a chore to give us a table, but ...

Downtown feel...
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/28/07
We recently moved to the area from the city..We find that this resturant has the feel of the big city places that we are used too. The food was very good and we like the atmosphere and choices of wine, If you are worried about the price this may not be the place for you, Try applebee's or someother fast food! This is for those of us that prefer the finer places to dine. We recommed this place to all of our friends that come to visit.
I've had dinner and lunch and enjoyed both immensely...all but the bill. Nice modern decor, interesting menu, and fabulous desserts.

I will never go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/15/06
Being a local of this town, I've eaten at this restaurant several times, each time the food and the service have gotten worse. The last time I ate there, which was during lunch, it cost me $25 for just myself to eat there. After paying for an overpriced meal, drink, and tip I realized how much better other restaurants in town are. Several hours ...
Wonderful food, and interesting preparations -- unique! Loved it, but the only complaint we had was that our table was a little small for (4) patrons; several utensils were dropped due to the size.

One and a half onions
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/10/06
The Three Onions is a relatively new restaurant; their web site projects a sophisticated image and the menu includes some very interesting dishes. I was disappointed that it turned out to be actually very noisy and that at 8 PM on a Saturday night they were out of the advertised halibut, one of only two fish dishes. The salmon which I ordered ...

Great food!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/25/06
Atmosphere is nice and looks a bit upscale. Food was good and service was great. Reservations are recommended but it was a quiet time of the week so we got right in.
